Welcome to the AntipodeanSF Radio Show, hosted by the editor of AntipodeanSF, Ion Newcombe, aka "Nuke" or "The Jollyfish". Ion selects the best in speculative flash fiction for these shows, with stories often narrated by the authors themselves.

Listen in weekly to a show devoted to the presentation of flash speculative fiction stories (science fiction, fantasy, and horror).

The AntiSF Radio show also features discussions and panel presentations recorded at various speculative fiction conventions and awards ceremonies.

AntiSF is where speculative flash fiction belongs - downside up!

Greetings, welcome, tune up. Hi, I’m Nuke, and this is the AntipodeanSF Radio Show Abderhalden. Sounds like the name for an android, to me. Or is that a repository of unknowlege akin to total bullshit in the playground?
Abderhalden was named in memory of Swiss biochemist and physiologist Emil Abderhalden a researcher in the field of physiological chemistry, founder of modern dietetics, and promoter of public welfare.
And speaking of welfare, I do have that in mind, so I’ll stop rambling and get on with the stories, which, by the way, I’ve already mentioned.

In This Show:

  • Total Bullshit - by Andrew Barnett
  • The Playground - by Maria Arena
  • Repository of Unknowledge #256 - by Ed Errington
