Congratulations to all of you.
Contributors, readers, and especially — this month —
listeners. The reason? Simply this: 2NVR (Nambucca Valley Radio),
the community station that features the AntipodeanSF Radio Show as
a part of its lineup took out the CBAA "Voxie" Award for the "Best
Small Community Radio Station in Australia 2013". Our blurb is
again (as once before in 2011), "The Best Little Station In The
Nation".
And why the congrats to contributors? Because your are key to
the life of this project. Thanks to you all for contributing
stories, not just to the pages of AntiSF, but to the podcast/radio
show. Your contributions all helped to make for great programming
on the station, and of course the delicious content that we feature
at the website and in the e-book version of AntipodeanSF.
Readers, you are complicit in this. It's a multiplex
communication channel. So keep on reading, listening — and becoming
writers.
In the meantime, AntiSF will continue introducing new fiction,
new bards, and new ideas. And if you don't write, you can still
help us out — for example you could like AntiSF on Facebook
(http://www.facebook.com/antipodeansf), or like 2NVR
(http://www.facebook.com/radionambucca). And of course, how could I
not mention Elizabeth's Turning Pages
(http://www.facebook.com/ElizabethsTurningPages), where writers can
be featured in-interview along with the "music that moves
them".
But wait. There's more you can do. Write about us somewhere.
Tell your friends and enemies. Give them the URL to our podcast
(antisf.libsyn.com).
Seriously. We are heading for issue 200!
But this is Issue 186, featuring all of the stories from that
online issue of AntipodeanSF. Go for a run, paddle a boat, drive
your car and listen to what's coming.
