Hello fellow star travellers. Welcome to the AntisF Radio Show 161 Delta. In this week's episode, the last from the now not so current issue of AntipodeanSF, you'll hear the remaining two stories from that issue, being "Carrion" by Holly Day, and "Worst Ending Ever", by regular contributor and arch weatherman Kevin J. Phyland. Later in the show you'll also hear an offering from Librivox of a Golden Age SF story called "An Incident on Route 12", by James H. Schmitz. It's all wrapped in fine electronic music from "The Kyoto Connection", thanks to the Free Music Archive. ![]() AntipodeanSF Radio Show by Ion Newcombe is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License. Speculate more. That's the spirit. Here's the AntiSF Radio Show issue 161 Gamma, with me, Nuke, your host and editor. Welcome. Settle back and make yourself comfortable for the latest installment of this very show, which features two stories from the latest incarnation of AntipodeanSF online, where you can of course read the stories you hear. This time around I serve up for you, "A Taste of Real Earth" by David Brookes, and, "The Strike Team" by Rachael Ryan. We'll add to that with two reviews from our long time regular reviewer, supposedly retired but filling in for Jan Napier while she recovers, Sue Clennell, who takes a look at two unsual books, "I Killed Adolf Hitler" and, "Pride & Prejudice & Zombies". Mix it all up with music from "The Kyoto Connection" from an album entitled "The First Voyage", and there you have this show. ![]() AntipodeanSF Radio Show by Ion Newcombe is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License. Welcome, fellow improbables to the AntiSF radio Show, 161 Beta, a sweet and crispy cone that's choc full of content that's guaranteed not to melt on your lap. G'day from down under, if you're up top there, that is. I'm your host and editor, Nuke. Welcome to another episode of the show that delivers the best in flash speculative fiction to your ears from around the cosmos. In this edition, you're going to hear about some a nasty things, firstly in a story called "Blackflower" by Damien Conn, and then in "Brother" by Jason Butterfield. I also have a fifty worder for you by Steve Duffy, called "Make Yourself a Fresh One Instead". Take heed. You gotta watch that coffee, folks. Finally, the show is neatly trimmed with a rather horrible dystopian vision from Shaun Saunders in something called "The Patriot", and a lovely Flashback to Issue 143 of AntipodeanSF with "Last Chance" by Des McNicholas -- not to forget a review of "The Sookie Stackhouse Companion" by the inimitable Elizabeth Newman. So settle back onto that beach towel, drink in the view, and keep listening because it's time for some stories. Short shorts, of course. ![]() AntipodeanSF Radio Show by Ion Newcombe is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
