AntipodeanSF
AntipodeanSF podcast/radio show is devoted to the presentation of flash speculative fiction stories (science fiction, fantasy, and horror). AntiSF is where speculative fiction belongs -- downside-up!
The AntiSF Radio Show Sadr

G’day fellow speculative fictioneers, this is the AntipodeanSF Radio Show Sadr, name of a star in what is sometimes referred to as the Northern Cross, as opposed to our southern version. Sadr is a supergiant somewhat variable star that emits around 33,000 times Sol’s radiation, and it’s still one of the brightest lights in the night sky at a distance of almost 2,000 light years. But that’s not the story we’re telling here, although I’m sure it’s possible to speculate about Sadr. Speculative stories are what we’re at, and in this show we ask the golden question, share some dubious prey, discover the depth of beauty born in 2040, and follow a kookaburra’s laugh into alien territory.

The AntiSF Radio Show Mintaka

Hello and welcome to the AntipodeanSF Radio Show, blue giant Mintaka. You’re amazing, still so bright at almost a thousand light years distance, my bright friend. As are you, here to listen to listen with me to three stories from the pages of AntipodeanSF, another show to feature an authorial double. This week, it’s Trent Jamieson’s turn to go with the upsides of down, and to float in with an invigorating cast of speculation from the early days of this magazine. We’ll also revisit “The Visit” first contribution to us from David Scholes.

The AntiSF Radio Show Mizar

Greetings, salutations and warnings. I’m Nuke, and this is the AntipodeanSF Radio show Mizar, a quadruple star system forming part of the constellation of the Big Dipper. Are we heading north again? Stay with me for the next twenty five minutes or so to find out, and learn things speculative such as the true meaning of a popular four letter word. We’ll also have a double feature from South Australian David Kernot, one with gravity, and another with fleshy skin.

The AntiSF Radio Show Eltanin

G’day and welcome, this is the AntipodeanSF Radio Show Eltanin, also known as Gamma Draconis, one of the eyes of Draco the dragon. Speaking of dragons, I’m Nuke, your host and editor, and I’m here to present two stories from the pages of AntipodeanSF online and electronic, in which may lurk hidden but not crouching dragons. Stay and speculate with me as we discover what civilised societies do to stay civilised, and how aliens may be civilised enough to play chess, but perhaps be uncivilised about its outcome.
