AntipodeanSF
AntipodeanSF podcast/radio show is devoted to the presentation of flash speculative fiction stories (science fiction, fantasy, and horror). AntiSF is where speculative fiction belongs -- downside-up!
The AntiSF Radio Show Stephan's Quintet

Aloha, Guten Tag, Giinagay. Welcome to the AntipodeanSF Radio Show Stephan’s Quintet, a group of five that sports a mysterious energy-emitting filament in intergalactic space. Dare we ask? Well, that’s what I’m here for — to ask, to elucidate, and to obfuscate again. I’m Nuke, host and editor, and I’ll happily tell you that we have two flash fiction stories in today’s show, and both of them by new voices to AntiSF’s extended family of authors.

In This Show:

  • The Guests — by Calvin Demmer
  • Successful — by Michael Zhao
  • Panel presentation "The Fall & Rise Of The Short Story", at Contact 2016 — Simon Brown, Angela Slatter, Cat Sparks, Tehani Wessely, Rob Taylor (part 6)

The AntiSF Radio Show Spindle Galaxy

Go hunting, go fishing, go greeting, and this is the AntipodeanSF Radio Show Spindle Galaxy, imaged nicely side-on by the Hubble Space Telescope in my favourite constellation, Draco. Hang on, though, because there is another candidate for Spindle Galaxy. Things are not what they seem, although I must insist that I’m Nuke, your host and editor, and it’s time to jump into two stories that turn things downside up.

I’m sure you agree, and thanks for joining me.

How great is your love, and what would you do if you woke up in the woods? Well, let’s find out about the latter first.

On This Show:

  • Waking Up In The Woods — by Jason Bougger
  • No Greater Love — by Wes Parish
  • Panel presentation "The Fall & Rise Of The Short Story", at Contact 2016 — Simon Brown, Angela Slatter, Cat Sparks, Tehani Wessely, Rob Taylor (part 5)

Outro.

The AntiSF Radio Show Sombrero Galaxy

Welcome, sentients far and wide, this is the AntipodeanSF Radio Show Sombrero Galaxy, and I am Nuke, your host and editor. Thanks for lending your processing power to the apprehension of these speculative audio tales. It’s story time, folks. And as for the sombrero, it’s only about a third of the size of our own monster, but it’s bright, with a prominent dust lane. Take a look, and perhaps visit some time. It’s only 31 million light years distant. But let’s come home.

In today’s show we’ll hear from two first-timers here at AntiSF, Colby Smith and Pamela Jeffs, and you’ll hear the next installment in “The Fall and Rise Of The Short Story”, a panel discussion from Contact 2016.

In This Show:

  • Flesh Is Frost Is Dust — by Colby Smith
  • Air And Water — by Pamela Jeffs
  • Panel presentation "The Fall & Rise Of The Short Story", at Contact 2016 — Simon Brown, Angela Slatter, Cat Sparks, Tehani Wessely, Rob Taylor (part 4)
