AntipodeanSF
AntipodeanSF podcast/radio show is devoted to the presentation of flash speculative fiction stories (science fiction, fantasy, and horror). AntiSF is where speculative fiction belongs -- downside-up!
Saiph

Saiph it is, blue and giant, and destined to be a supernova. Does that sound like a description of you? And while I'm asking questions — I'm Nuke by the way, and this is Saiph — let me ask another one. Are you listening? Are you ready for stories?

Two of them this show, one of them is from our FabCola expert, Shaun A Saunders, coming later in the show with a biting tale of corporate greed, and the other is the return of Klinko the Klown. That's from the mighty mind of Tony Owens.

Diphda

In the beginning there was AntipodeanSF issue 1. Seventeen years later we've arrived at Issue 200 — online right now, featuring 22 new stories from past contributors, alongside, in most cases, the very first story of theirs that was published by AntiSF. That's a bunch of fine flash. Don't miss out. Don't delay. Head on over to antisf.com and catch a fiction feast. And if you have a smartphone, a tablet, a kindle or other electronic reader device, grab yourself a copy of the issue to read on screen. No adverts. No cost. Creative commons licensed so that you can give it away too. Share it. Tell your friends. Harass your enemies. Go and hide for an hour or two in other worlds.

In the meantime, hi, I'm Nuke, your host and editor, and this is the AntiSF Radio Show Diphda. As bright as you like it. Variable, for sure. But reliable. This show features three stories from Issue 199. We'll visit Venus, snake into a future surgical situation, and jump for joy over Jupiter.

Algieba

G'day fellow eardrum owners and welcome to the AntipodeanSF Radio Show Algieba., in which we'll all be really cold together, choose wisely about our futures, kill for sport, and perhaps laugh when we're brushed with somebody else's fingers.

I'm Nuke, your host and editor. Please stick around for the coming show, which features four stories from the pages of Issue 199 of AntipodeanSF for your listening pleasure. Rest assured, you've made the right decision, and I'm sure I have too.

Hamal

Howdy sentients everywhere, and welcome to the AntipodeanSF Radio Show Hamal. As an imagining creature you couldn't ask for more in one month. Issue 199 of AntipodeanSF, of which this is the first of four shows to feature stories from, included twelve stories on the edge of fantasy, science, fiction, horror, and disbelief.

Twelve stories of what if. Twelve now — and twenty two in the next issue of AntiSF. Almost exactly, within the limits my own self-defined error bars, seventeen years ago was born the seed issue of AntiSF, Issue Zero. No copy remains. It's lost to the zippy flash of electrons of a failed hard drive that probably didn't incorporate the principles of Giant Magneto Resistance.

Issue Zero, from memory, urged writers with internet connections to contribute flash fiction to this very site.

Why flash, you ask? Why only five hundred words? Because the consumer grade computer screens of 1997-1998, flickering Cathode-Ray-Tube behemoths of power-suckage, weren't really all that good for reading on.

Things have changed somewhat since then, but AntiSF is still here, with a vengeance, on a platform to suit you.

Don't forget where AntiSF started. Go to it. Issue 200 is up right now. Read them before you hear them.
