Alnilam is its name. In the belt of Orion, the constellation of the great Hunter in the sky, is where you'll find it. Blue supergiant, named after string of pearls, lighting up to a glow the molecular cloud that surrounds it, edging ever and ever closer to bursting into red supergiant or eventual supernova, reminding us that nothing lasts, even stars, or for that matter, heroes.
G'day and welcome to the AntipodeanSF radio Show Alnilam, wherein you will be regaled with stories, many new, one from the annals of AntiSF history. What can you do in seventeen minutes, what techniques would you use to win out, and how might you interpret dinosaurs in the Hollywood Hills. If you come out thinking that everything is a graveyard, then you are getting close.
